sharemoni

Idea, Concept and Implementation, Graphics, Logo, Website, Texts

brief

«Sharemoni» emerged as a visionary project during my bachelor’s thesis, centered in a serene village in Sulawesi, Indonesia. This endeavor was fueled by Natsir, a local English teacher and eco activist, who aspired to foster sustainable tourism through «Community Based Tourism.» Collaborating with my project partner, our mission was to bring «Sharemoni» to life.

challenges

To maximize our impact, an immersive site visit was essential. We captured insightful videos, photos, and conducted interviews to understand the local dynamics. Adapting to the distinct pace and work ethic in Indonesia was pivotal, as was the need to maintain harmony between structured planning and the village’s spontaneity.

process

Our journey involved on-site video documentation of Natsir’s «Eco-Tourism» concept. Workshops were conducted with locals to introduce the concept of «Community Based Tourism.» Returning home, our focus turned to creating a user-friendly website that seamlessly showcased the diverse aspects of the project.

styleguide

The style guide mirrored the project’s values. «Sharemoni» embodies «Share» (English) and «Harmoni» (Indonesian), while the logo draws from Toraja culture symbols. Green and orange hues signify nature and sustainability, complemented by neutral gray and beige tones.
